Pakistan Armed Forces to Exhibit Military Strength on Independence Day at Shakarparian

ISLAMABAD – To mark Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day and commemorate the victory of Marka-e-Haq, the Pakistan Armed Forces will organize a grand public exhibition at Shakarparian Parade Ground on Thursday, August 14.

The event will open at 10:00 a.m. and showcase state-of-the-art defense equipment, including fighter aircraft, tanks, artillery, rocket launchers, armored carriers, and military vehicles. Weaponry and radars that played a pivotal role in the Marka-e-Haq operation against India will also be on display.

Adding to the patriotic spectacle, the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) will perform a breathtaking fly-past and Para trooping demonstration, highlighting the skill and precision of the country’s airmen. Visitors will also enjoy cultural stalls, military band performances, and displays of national songs, aimed at igniting national pride and unity.

Officials say the objective of the exhibition is twofold: to familiarize citizens with Pakistan’s modern military capabilities and technological progress, and to allow people of all ages to celebrate Independence Day with enthusiasm, passion, and a sense of pride in the country’s defense forces.

This Independence Day military display in Islamabad is expected to draw large crowds, providing a rare opportunity for the public to witness Pakistan’s cutting-edge defence arsenal up close.
